KPG Επίπεδα B1 & B2 σε μια εξέταση - May 2011

Στις εξετάσεις του Κρατικού Πιστοποιητικού Γλωσσομάθειας, τα επίπεδα Β1 (Pre- Lower) & Β2 (Lower) θα εξετάζονται σε ένα διαβαθμισμένο τεστ όπως ακριβώς γίνεται στα επίπεδα Α1 & Α2.

Για να πετύχει ο υποψήφιος στις εξετάσεις ισχύει ακόμα η βάση 60% (με ελάχιστη βαθμολογία 30% σε κάθε ενότητα). Οι ερωτήσεις χωρίζονται σε επίπεδα δυσκολίας Α1 & Β1 και Α2 & Β2. Ανάλογα με τη βαθμολογία που θα συγκεντρώσουν οι υποψήφιοι χορηγείται το αντίστοιχο πιστοποιητικό. Για να δείτε τις προδιαγραφές βάσει των οποίων θα διεξαχθούν οι εξετάσεις το Μάιο 2011 δείτε εδώ.

To PET (Preliminary English Test) αντιστοιχεί στο επίπεδο Β1 του Κοινού Ευρωπαϊκού Πλαισίου Αναφοράς για γλώσσες (CEF). Δείτε αναλυτικά τα επίπεδα γλωσσομάθειας εδώ. To PET for schools έχει την ίδια μορφή και αντιστοιχεί στο ίδιο επίπεδο με μόνη διαφορά τη θεματολογία η οποία προσαρμόζεται στα ενδιαφέροντα των μαθητών.
Format - Δομή
Paper 1 - Reading & Writing - 1 hour 30 minutes
Reading: 5 parts - 35 questions - mark 25%
Writing: 3 parts - 7 questions - mark 25%
Paper 2 - Listening - 35 minutes
Listening: 4 parts - 25 questions - mark 25%
Paper 3 - Speaking - 10 - 12 minutes
Speaking: 4 parts - mark 25%

IELTS Format and Free Preparation Materials
Format
Total Test Time 2 hours 44 minutes
All candidates take the same Listening and Speaking tests and then choose between the Academic or General Training Reading and Writing tests.
Academic : for undergraduate or postgraduate studies
General Training : for vocational or training programmes

Listening
Sections 1 & 2 include a conversation and a monologue on topics of general interest.
Sections 3 & 4 include a conversation and a monologue on educational topics (lecture etc)
The Listening part of the exam lasts aproximately 30 minutes and consists of 40 items. Candidates hear the recording only once and are given 10 mintutes at the end to transfer their answers.
Reading
Candidates are given 60 minutes to complete all three sections (40 items).
There are three texts taken from journals, books, magazines and newspapers.
Sections 1 & 2 include a conversation and a monologue on topics of general interest.
Sections 3 & 4 include a conversation and a monologue on educational topics (lecture etc)

For the first task, candidates are required to write at least 150 words based on a diagram, chart or graph. The second task is an essay of at least 250 words in response to the statement given.
- General Training
For the first task, candidates are required to write a letter of at least 150 words in response the the given information. The second task is an essay of at least 250 words in response to the statement given.
Speaking
The Speaking tests takes 11 - 14 minutes. After the warm up, candidates are asked to talk on a topic based on the prompts they are given. They will then engage in a conversation on issues related to the topic. There are three parts in the Speaking exam.

ESB December 2008 Past Papers
Οι εξετάσεις ESB (English Speaking Board) διεξάγονται 2 φορές το χρόνο. Τα επίπεδα Β1, Β2 (Lower) , C1 (Advance) αναγνωρίζονται από το ΑΣΕΠ. To επίπεδο C2 διεξάγεται από το University of Lancashire.

TOEFL iBT - Δομή και Περιεχόμενο
Το TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) απευθύνεται σε υποψηφίους που σκοπεύουν να παρακολουθήσουν προπτυχιακά ή μεταπτυχιακά τμήματα πανεπιστημίων του εξωτερικού και της Ελλάδας (αγγλόφωνα τμήματα). Η πιστοποίηση TOEFL έχει χρονική ισχύ 2 χρόνια. Η Ελληνοαμερικανική Ένωση είναι επίσημο εξεταστικό κέντρο για Αθήνα και Θεσσαλονίκη.
Format and Content
1. Reading (60'-100')
3-5 passages from academic texts. 36-70 questions
2. Listening (60' - 90')
4-6 lectures , 2-3 conversations. 3-51 questions
3. Speaking (20')
2 tasks to express an opinion
4 tasks to speak based on what you read and listen to.
4. Writing (50')
1 task to write based on what you read and listen to.
