Earth Hour started in Sydney, Australia in 2007 when 2.2 million people and 2000 businesses turned their lights off for an hour to take a stand against climate change. A year later, Earht Hour became a global movement. Earth Hour 2010 became the biggest Earth Hour ever with 128 countries participating.

This year Earth Hour will take place on Saturday 26th March at 8:30 pm local time.

Before you turn your lights on again, think of what you can do on a daily basis to raise awarenes about climate change and help the environment.
